BRIEF:
To produce a fun and relaxed Summer party for Tangle Teezer’s staff, clients and friends.
DELIVERY:
The party was held at the CEO’s beautiful Clapham residence and as the date was so close to 4th July we decided on an Americana theme – a deep south backyard BBQ in the gardens with colourful kitsch Miami touches to fit with the brand’s aesthetic.
On arrival, guests were served bellinis from our retro Miami bar and whisked into the photo booth to pose amongst the palm fronds and flamingos with props of their choice before being ushered into the stunning gardens.
Colourful wash lighting, bright neon signs, pineapples and palms in pastel pots decorated the interiors while the outdoor dance floor was lit with a canopy of festoon lights and lampshades in the trees. The terrace bar served a medley of cocktails to suit the occasion, our favourite was the Hurricane County – rum and ginger with a twist of all spice and blackberry jam – with an umbrella garnish of course! A classic American style menu was served and the BBQ ribs, deep fried mac n cheese balls and melt in your mouth churros were the stand out favourites!
Our tarot card reader invited guests into her Louisiana style voodoo pod to have their fortunes told as the incredible mind reader wowed with his astonishing skills, and the evening culminated in a fireworks display set to music and complete with spinning catherine wheels.
